Dart donates tech to ICCI

ICCI students use Dell laptops donated by Dart.

The International College of the Cayman Islands is technologically richer after receiving a donation of eight Dell laptops, two Kindles and 12 iPad Air devices from Dart.

The donation, valued at approximately $13,000, is aimed at enhancing educational programs and building students’ skills as they prepare to enter or progress in the workforce.
ICCI president David Marshall said these tools will help to sharpen students’ skills in digital communications.

“We know that technology is crucial to achieving the high-quality world-class education that our graduates need to be successful in Cayman’s knowledge-based economy.” Mr. Marshall said. “We are very grateful to Dart for this important contribution to ICCI’s online learning initiative.”

In a press statement, Dart’s Vice President of Community Development Chris Duggan said the company is dedicated to investing in Cayman’s future leaders and innovators through its Minds Inspired program.

“We hope that this new technology complements the great learning atmosphere provided by the ICCI faculty and students,” Mr. Duggan said.
