‘Chopped,’ budding chefs style

Students from Cayman International School show off the desserts they made during one of the Bon Vivant Budding Chef after-school classes. The students are paired up in teams and compete in challenges similar to those on the television show ‘Chopped.’ They create dishes using specific ingredients and their imagination, under the guidance of chef/instructor Maureen Cubbon from Bestlife Wellness Solutions, pictured behind the girls. The lessons cover the use of ingredients, healthier recipes, and planting and using garden herbs. They also have a recipe book they update weekly. - Photo: Alan Markoff
