In East End, Christmas cheer comes in all shapes and sizes, with a healthy dose of creativity making for some fun festive sightseeing.

Business owner Christiana “Elsa” Edwards is a bit of an expert when it comes to recycling, and she is also making a name for herself with her earth-friendly Christmas creations.

Last year her head-turning Christmas tree made of used tires won the Bodden Town cultural committee’s “Christmas Round the World” event.

Her tire snowman and Santa are also worth a peek. Her latest brainstorm is a tree made completely of empty cans which she now displays proudly in front of her Wreck View Gift Shop located across the street from Tukka Restaurant.

Down the road at the Wyndham Reef Resort, staff are preparing for what’s expected to be a busy holiday season in the next few weeks.

Other East End hotels and business such as Morritt’s, the Italian Kitchen and Chef Remy’s Bombay Chopsticks are also setting up decorations and getting into the holiday spirit.
