Delays in garbage pick-ups in Bodden Town

Bodden Town residents are experiencing delays in the collection of their garbage.

The Department of Environmental Health advised on Sunday that the delays were caused by a “temporary shortage of equipment” over the past week.

According to the DEH, garbage collections have been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday this week in the following areas:

  • Shamrock Road from Will T. Road to the Northward Road entrance via Star Apple Street, Hudson Drive, Fig Tree Road and Northward Road;
  • Will T. Drive to the Northward Road entrance via Shamrock Road, including side roads;
  • From the entrance of Northward Road to Belford Estates via Condor Road;
  • Shamrock Road from the entrance of Condor Road to in- side Midland Acres;
  • Bodden Town Road from the entrance of Midland Acres to John McLean Drive.
