A man remains in stable condition in hospital after being stabbed in West Bay.
The man was seriously injured on Saturday night, police confirmed to the Cayman Compass Sunday, following queries.
However, the full details surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Police and other emergency services responded to a report of a stabbing just before 11pm on Saturday, 8 Jan., at Birch Tree Hill Road, near Rev. Blackman Road.
Officers located the injured man, who was laying on the ground and being assisted by a member of the public.
The man was transported to hospital by ambulance.
He remains under treatment for what are believed to be serious injuries, but is currently in stable condition, police said.
