It was surf’s up at Seven Mile Beach over the weekend, as high seas and windy weather made for ideal conditions to catch a wave.
A high pressure system over the southern US brought northerly winds and rough seas to Grand Cayman. High swells impacted the north and western coasts, with wave heights of 6 feet seen from the shores of George Town through to West Bay.
The rough sea conditions were expected to subside, with moderate winds and cooler temperatures on the forecast.
