An armed, masked robber held up the Al La Kebab food truck in Prospect late on Saturday night.
Police said the robbery occurred shortly before 11:50pm when a masked man, dressed all in black, approached the truck with a firearm and demanded cash from the register.
The robber fled west on foot with a quantity of cash.
Police said no shots were fired during the robbery, and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as being of medium build, about 5 feet, 6 inches in height, and was dressed in black with a black mask.
George Town CID are investigating the robbery and are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to call 949-4222.
