Due to inclement weather, the government has postponed a public meeting to discuss the Sexual Harassment Bill scheduled for tonight, Tuesday, 22 Aug., in North Side.
The meeting, which was due to be held at 7pm at the Craddock Ebanks Civic Centre, will now be held at a later date.
Wednesday night’s meeting at the East End Civic Centre is still scheduled to go ahead.
Thunderstorm have brought heavy rain to several areas of Grand Cayman, leading to flooding in some neighbourhoods. The stormy weather is expected to continue over the next few days.
The meetings are part of a public consultation exercise into draft legislation which has been drawn up to combat sexual harassment in the workplace.
More information and ways to submit feedback on the proposed legislation can be found at www.gov.ky/pch/sexualharassmentbill.
