A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered by Cayman Crime Stopper to any member of the public who can provide information that will lead to the arrest, charge or conviction of George Orlando Senior, who is wanted in connection with the murder of Divonte Hernandez.
Senior, whose last known address was in West Bay, remains at large and police are warning that residents should not approach him.
“Senior is known to be violent and is believed to be armed and dangerous,” the police said in a press release issued Wednesday, 11 Oct.
“The police are advising that he should not be approached by members of the public, but instead call 911 upon sighting him.”
Hernandez, 24, of George Town, was gunned down in broad daylight in a parking lot off Sound Way in the vicinity of the Eastern Avenue and Shedden Road intersection.

His death sent shockwaves through the community and prompted a plea from his father to “end the senseless violence“.
The Compass on Wednesday confirmed that the suspect arrested on 6 Oct. in relation to the murder was Sean Conolly Amaya, 24, of George Town.
“We believe one person was responsible for shooting the victim, but somebody else was driving the car,” said Detective Superintendent Peter Lansdown during a witness appeal, one week after the shooting.
Police have not specified the alleged role of each suspect in the murder.
In response to a Compass query, a police media officer said Amaya had been charged in connection with the murder, and made an initial Summary Court appearance on Monday, 9 Oct., at which point he was remanded into custody pending a Grand Court date.
