Police seek witnesses in Travis Ebanks murder case

Police say no arrests have been made in the shooting death of Travis Ebanks, who was killed on 21 Jan. in West Bay.

Ebanks, 29, was shot to death at an address off King Road, shortly before 4am.

In a brief response to Cayman Compass queries, the RCIPS said police were seeking witnesses.

“Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to do the right thing and come forward.  Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call the Major Incident Room at 649-2930,” said police.

Ebanks’s death is the first murder of 2024, and the second killing to have occurred along King Road in recent years.

On 25 Dec. 2018 Darrington Ebanks was shot and killed at a Christmas party, but to date, police have not found the killer as his father continues to search for answers.

Police are encouraging members of the public who have any information about any of the killings to contact detectives.
