More than 300 walkers and runners took part in the 7th Annual Heart Warriors and Angels Beach Walk along Seven Mile Beach on Sunday morning. Organisers Team Nolan and the Cayman Heart Foundation say more than $18,000 was raised.
The event is held in memory of baby Nolan Evans, who lost his battle against a congenital heart defect in January 2018.
Nolan’s mother Ailian Evans said, “What a beautiful Sunday morning filled with love, support, and community! My heart is overflowing with gratitude for our incredible volunteers, generous sponsors, loving family and friends, and every single participant who made this event so special.”
She said Team Nolan and Cayman Heart Foundation remain “100% committed to raising awareness about congenital heart disease and providing financial and emotional support to families navigating this challenging journey. Together, we walk with purpose, honor our angels, and stand beside our warriors.”
