The Little Cayman Research Centre will be hosting the 8th Annual Caribbean Sea Camp 10-17 August.

Developed by the Central Caribbean Marine Institute, this programme offers high school students the opportunity to learn Caribbean Marine Biology and Conservation.

This year’s activities will be based on the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration called Coral Reef Conservation Program and will emphasize the importance of healthy coral reefs. Students aged 14-18 are invited to apply for this unique fun and educational opportunity. International students are also welcomed.

Students interested in the programme must complete an application indicating their own personal ideas about why coral reefs are important and obtain a letter of recommendation as to why they should be considered for placement on this program

For an application e-mail Program Coordinator, Lucy Savage at [email protected] or for more information please either visit www.reefresearch.org or call the centre on 948-1094. Applications are being accepted through the months of April and May.
