Eighty-six-year-old Nell Connor from Breakers, Bodden Town had a lot to smile about last Sunday.
Long-time friends Giuseppe Gatta and wife Suzanne from the Lighthouse Restaurant in Breakers, along with workers Chef Remy and Chowtee, celebrated the day by surprising her with a birthday cake and lunch.

The group, along with family and friends, gathered at the home to wish Ms Nell many more years.
Eighty-six and still going strong, Ms Nell said she felt no pain and could still do the jig.
Just so that friends gathered could see she was as fit as a fiddle, Ms Nell jumped up and danced around, kissing and thanking everyone in attendance.
‘The Gattas, along with many at the Lighthouse Restaurant, are very special people. They always go out of their way to made me feel special. The birthday party was a nice gesture and I enjoyed the time spent with family and friends,’ said Ms Nell.
The well-liked senior was also given a great big hug by visiting friend Rose Arnold who was also celebrating her birthday on Sunday.
