Youngsters got a chance to show off their artistic abilities and learn a little bit about Canada at the National Gallery Education Centre on Tuesday.
Armed with coloured pencils, crayons and coloured papers, youngsters, along with some parents, passed the day in a fun way.
The Art Trek activity day was held for kindergarten and primary school aged children at the former Merren’s Plaza, West Bay Road.
From 3.30-5pm youngsters learned how to create their own maple leaf tree from coloured paper.
Held the first Tuesday of each month, Art Trek is a free programme that guides children through various art disciplines while focusing on different cultures in their artwork.
