One of Cayman’s most anticipated annual holiday events, the Singing Christmas Tree, returned to the Lions Centre 22-23 Nov. for two nights of music, dance, worship and celebration.

Now in its 12th year and hosted by the First Assembly of God in the Cayman Islands, the event attracted more than 1,000 people over the two nights. This year’s production featured a special address from Deputy Speaker of the House Pearlina McGaw-Lumsden, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of unity, gratitude and keeping Christ at the centre of the season.
The audience was also treated to artistic performance by the UCCI Dance Company, coordinated by Monica Lawrence of the University College of the Cayman Islands.

One of the most striking elements of the event remains the magnificent Singing Christmas Tree structure, brought to life by a vibrant choir, talented musicians and an ensemble of children and youth performers. Each song, dance and visual moment reflected the heart of Christmas and the spirit of togetherness for which the Cayman Islands is known.
An international vision for the future
With its growing audiences, strong community backing and increasing cultural visibility, the
committee behind the Singing Christmas Tree is committed to elevating the event onto the world stage. Plans are underway to position the production as an international attraction, drawing visitors from across the globe to share in this unique Caymanian Christmas experience.
“As we look ahead, our goal is to make the Singing Christmas Tree an international holiday
event – one that welcomes tourists, supports local creative talent, and continues to uplift our community year after year,” said a spokesperson for the organisers.
