Man arrested after stabbing near turtle centre

A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing near the Cayman Turtle Farm that left another man in critical condition in hospital.

Police said the victim was stabbed in the stomach, head and neck and also suffered an injury to his neck.

He was rushed to hospital by ambulance after the incident, which happened about on North Point Road, West Bay about 12.30pm on Wednesday, 20 May.

The alleged attacker, from George Town, was also taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries, but later released into police custody.

Police said the incident was still under investigation.
