The Cayman Islands Flag Football playoffs, held Oct. 13 at the Ed Bush Field, saw intense play as teams gave their all for a spot in the finals.

The top four teams of the Cayman Islands Flag Football Men’s League met in Saturday’s games at Ed Bush field. Former champions, the Kensington Hellcats and the Island Heritage Predators, started things off.

In week eight of Cayman Islands Flag Football, the Greenhouse Lynx and the Tribe Tattoo Lady Sharks managed to hold each other from scoring at Ed Bush field, despite best efforts throughout the first half, with notable stops by Lady Sharks’ Courtisha Ebanks.

To mix things up a bit, this year the Cayman Islands Flag Football coed league has decided to not have an A and B league. Instead, there are West and East divisions. This allows teams to play different caliber teams, which brings more of a competitive edge to the game.

The FLOW 2016 Cayman Islands Flag Football Premier League ended the season on Saturday at Ed Bush playfield, with HSM Vipers taking the women’s crown and Island Heritage Predators winning the men’s league. The first game of the day was between HSM Vipers and Maples Lynx.
