Three people were arrested last week, two on Little Cayman and one on Cayman Brac, following allegations of drug related activity.
A vehicle stopped by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service Thursday was searched and a quantity of ganja was found concealed in buckets.
The two men, a 47 year-old and a 36 year-old, were arrested. They were transported to Cayman Brac Police Station.
A third man was subsequently arrested in Cayman Brac for being concerned in the possession and supply of a controlled drug.
‘This was a significant arrest which resulted in more drugs being taken off our streets,’ said Acting Chief Inspector Patrick Beersingh. ‘We continue to be vigilant and have a zero tolerance for the use and sale of illegal drugs.’
