Grace Christian students help out

Senior students at Grace Christian
Academy held a clothing drive recently as part of their College Prep course
work, prompted by their teacher’s having received an appeal from her church on
behalf of a family in need.

During the normal carpool times,
the seniors stood at the school’s front gate to provide information about the
clothing drive and the particular clothing sizes and items the family needed.
During the five days of the drive, Grace Christian Academy parents, students
and teachers donated numerous bags of clothing, toys and household items.

It was a winning opportunity for
all of those involved, organisers said: The seniors made it happen, the family
received needed items, and the school’s younger students witnessed the seniors
helping their community.
