Stabbing victim shows up at hospital

A man who had been stabbed multiple times in the torso was admitted to the Cayman Islands Hospital early Saturday morning.

The man’s wounds were not believed to be life-threatening, Royal Cayman Islands Police said.

Officers could not immediately confirm the location where the man was stabbed and did not state if they were able to interview the victim.

The stabbing victim was the second mystery attack patient to appear at the hospital so far this month.

On 1 December, a shooting victim was dropped off there after being injured at an unspecified location. That man, Frank McField, had to be taken to hospital in Miami after a bullet broke a bone in his right leg.

Police provided no further information about Saturday’s stabbing victim.

  1. Go back to 20 November 2011 –

At about 12:49 AM on 20th November 2011 911 received a report that a 42-year-old male had been physically assaulted by a few males on the outside of a George Town business. Apparently, the victim went to the place, but he was not welcomed by his assailants and a fight ensued. As a result of the fight, the victim sustained multiple stab wounds, lacerations and bruises to various parts of his body.

    Deja vu anyone?
