Central Planning Authority approvals

The Central Planning Authority approved a number of projects during its meeting 15 February, subject to various requirements stipulated by the authority. Here are some of the significant proposals the authority approved:

Elite Development Holdings: Seven buildings to contain 30 apartments (58 bedrooms), a gym, two pools with cabanas and a 42-inch high wall. Cost: $8.1 million
Building Area: 50,568 square feet. Parcel Area: 2.77 acres
Location: Bankers Road, West Bay

Tibbetts Holdings Ltd.: Construct a truss plant building and modify the 6-foot chain link fence
Cost: $984,600. Building Area: 13,620 square feet
Parcel Area: 130,767 square feet. Location: Bodden Town Road, Bodden Town
Peter Stephen Trench: Two-storey warehouse
Cost: $225,388. Building Area: 2,372.5 square feet
Parcel Area: 0.375 acres
Location: Lincoln Drive, George Town

Greenhouse Organic Market Cafe: Change-of-use from retail to restaurant. Cost: $90,000. Building Area: 943.99 square feet. Location: Seven Mile Shops on West Bay Road

Cayman Economic Zone Head Office: Change-of-use from warehouse storage to office. Cost: $50,000. Building Area: 2,071 square feet. Location: Breezy Castle opposite Cayman Islands Airports Authority and Fire Department, Owen Roberts Drive

Coffee Shack Holdings Ltd.: Drive-thru beverage and snack trailer
Cost: $5,000. Building Area: 120 square feet. Location: Linford Pierson Highway and Bobby Thompson roundabout
