Immigration gives purple support

Department of Immigration staff donned purple clothing and donated money on Friday, 21 September, to support the local Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association in the Cayman Islands.

The association’s founder and chairwoman Dorothy Davis thanked the immigration staff for their generosity, and noted that the money will go toward educational workshops to benefit caregivers of people with dementia.

“It is gratifying to contribute to this worthy cause. When called to do so, my staff are always willing to support where there is a need,” said Linda Evans, director of immigration.
