Sentencing due next month
McLaughlin admitted stealing $612 and a gold ring from a woman at the store and putting her in fear of being subjected to force. He also admitted possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit the robbery.
The final charge he pleaded guilty to was common assault against a police officer that same day, May 30, 2012.
No facts were presented and defense attorney Clyde Allen asked if the court would request a social inquiry report for his client, who is now 21.
Justice Alexander Henderson agreed and set sentencing for Friday, Nov. 15.
The matter had been scheduled for trial next week.
