Black Friday, the day after thanksgiving in the U.S., is considered to be one of that country’s craziest shopping days for people looking a good bargain.
Now it seems, Black Friday has come to Cayman.
One local store had hundreds of bargain-hunters cram through the door just after dawn Friday morning.
Hundreds waited outside the doors of Cost-U-Less from 4 a.m., standing in the rain, all to snag a selection of bargain-priced products when the store opened its doors two hours later.
Cars upon cars filled the Governors Square parking lot, spilling over into roads and side streets. Security guards and police were out in the chilly morning rain and tried to keep order in the parking lot.
