Wong DUI case adjourned

The DUI case of senior Immigration Department official Garfield “Gary” Wong has been adjourned to June 9.

The case came before Summary Court on Monday and was adjourned to allow for Wong’s attorney, Dennis Brady, to get disclosure from the crown.

Wong, 47, is charged with DUI, driving without due care and attention and leaving the scene of an accident without reasonable cause. His alcohol-in-blood level was .184. The legal limit is .100.

The charges arise from an incident that occurred on Dec. 28, 2013, on Shamrock Road.
