A 43-year-old man charged with attempted murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm appeared in Summary Court on Wednesday.
The alleged victim is Ronald Baxter Argenbright.
Mark Allen Jackson faces the charges that arose from an incident on June 2. Both men have addresses on Rainbow Lane in West Bay.
Jackson told Magistrate Grace Donalds that he was represented by attorney Nicholas Dixey, who was in a Grand Court trial.
Crown counsel Tricia Hutchinson pointed out that the charges against Jackson are both Category A, which means that they can be dealt with only in Grand Court and must therefore be transmitted “forthwith.”
The magistrate set June 13 as the mention date in the higher court and told Jackson that any application for bail would have to be made there.
