Cubans migrants spotted off East End

A boat with 19 Cuban men on board arrived off East End on Sunday morning, police said.

The vessel remained anchored about quarter of a mile offshore, in front of East End Primary School.

According to the Royal Cayman Islands Police report, all occupants appeared to be in good health.

The Joint Marine Unit received the report of the Cuban vessel and the Immigration Department was at the scene Sunday afternoon to monitor the vessel and its passengers.
