A group of Cuban refugees who escaped from the Immigration Detention Centre over Easter weekend are still on the run.
The six detainees, who were among a group of 11 Cubans who broke out of the facility on Sunday, were still being hunted by police and prison authorities on Thursday afternoon.
Four of the group were caught in the immediate aftermath of the escape, while a fifth turned himself in to the West Bay police station on Monday.
Raquel Solomon, spokeswoman from the prison service, said Thursday, “An intelligence-based operation to find the missing detainees is continuing. We are really looking for the public’s support to help us track down these men.”
Anyone who sees any of the men is asked to call police on 911.
