Forum focuses on marketing innovations

Mobile marketing, digital media, LinkedIn innovation, domain innovation and self branding are among the topics of a marketing forum on Oct. 13 hosted by the Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association. 

Among the speakers addressing “the art of innovation” will be LinkedIn expert Viveka von Rosen, who Forbes lists as a top social media influencer. She is the author of “LinkedIn Marketing: An Hour a Day.” 

Other speakers are Richie Kelly, who heads the digital media division for Digicel in the Caribbean; Shomari Scott, marketing director for Health City Cayman Islands; Frank Schilling, founder of Uniregistry; creative director Josh Pearl; Laura Skec, director of sales and marketing at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort; restaurateur Kimberly Lallouz; and creative director Jeff Abracen. 

“Cayman’s marketing professionals will learn from industry leaders about the convergence of the marketing industry’s latest innovations and emerging trends. There is truly a topic for everyone from marketers to small business owners to CEOs,” the association’s chairwoman, Lynne Byles, said in a press release. 

The conference will be at the Westin resort, followed by a networking reception. Registration is open until Oct. 12 at the CIMPA website, www.cimpa.ky, or attendees may register on the day of the conference between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
