Police are looking for possible witnesses to a late-night beating in East End over the weekend that left a man in a coma at Health City Cayman Islands after he had to have brain surgery.
Police said in a press release that an officer on patrol found the man, 50, unconscious across Seaview Road from Pirates Cove Bar shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. He remains in critical condition.
Police said the man “had been the victim of an attack during which he had been severely beaten.” Police said a second man may have also been injured in the attack.
