Nick Reid has joined the corporate/commercial group of law firm Solomon Harris and will specialise in investment funds and captive insurance.
Mr. Reid, from Scotland, attended and graduated from the University of Edinburgh, with a bachelor of laws in 1991 and pursued a postgraduate diploma in legal practice in 1992. He was admitted to the Scottish Bar as a solicitor in 1997.
He started work with a firm near Edinburgh, Collie & Co., in 1995, and was made a partner in 2001 before stepping down at the end of 2004 to embark on a career in the Cayman Islands.
Mr. Reid’s main areas of expertise are commercial/corporate law and trusts. He also has considerable experience in property law and financing.
