Saturday banking at CNB

Cayman National Bank has announced that its Edward Street Centre will be opened on Saturdays.

Regular banking services, including personal banking and mortgages plus other services such as an ‘Education Saturday’ will be offered from 9am to 1pm, states a CNB press release.

This new Saturday banking service enhances the similar service currently offered by the bank at its Centennial Tower Customer Service Centre in West Bay.

‘We recognise that as our economy grows, the demands on the workforce will become more challenging and the opportunities to conduct personal business will be further constrained during normal working hours,’ commented CNB president Ormond Williams,

He further noted that with increased traffic congestion, the workforce is leaving early for work in the mornings and returning home later in the evenings.

‘Hence there is a need to offer our customers the avenues to conduct their banking at a more convenient time, one such avenue being Saturday,’ said Mr. Williams.

‘As we grow, we look forward to offering more innovative products and services to our customers. We are excited that later this year we shall open our new Savannah Customer Service Centre and next year our operation in Camana Bay,’ continued Mr. Williams.

With the bank’s Centennial Towers Customer Service fully utilized on Saturdays, the strategy is to bring new services to customers which will make doing business with the bank more convenient and satisfying, the release said.

‘We at CNB offer our customers a range of choices in how they do business with us. Our internet banking service is available free of cost 24 hours a day, but if you desire the personal touch, we also offer our six service centres during the week and on Saturdays in West Bay, and now in George Town,’ stated the Senior Vice President, Service Delivery, McFarlane Conolly.
