Two charged in Tortuga robbery

Two men have been charged and are expected to appear in court Monday in connection with a robbery in West Bay.

At about  2.30 pm on Monday, Royal Cayman Islands Police said two men, one of them carrying a firearm, entered the Tortuga Liquor store next to the Cracked Conch restaurant in West Bay.

The men threatened
staff before fleeing the scene with a small sum of cash, police said. 

No shots were fired
and no one was injured in the incident.

Two men, aged 20
and 33 years, have been charged with robbery.

Their names were not immediately released by police.
