Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange announces 2012 schedule

The 2012 Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange is the only annual forum for leading suppliers of the Cayman Islands tourism industry to meet with travel wholesalers from the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Canada in a professionally organised business exchange. The event is organised by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association. 

It allows the Cayman Islands tourism bodies to educate Cayman’s wholesalers and international media about the tourism product in the Cayman Islands so that they are equipped to successfully sell or promote the Cayman Islands to their customers. Registration is open to the public for Monday and Tuesday. 


Monday, 30 April 

Immigration & Hospitality Training and Service: Industry Workshops throughout day (lunch included) at the Westin Casuarina Resort 

9.00 to 11am: Immigration Presentation and Panel Discussion 

1.30 to 3.30pm: Building Sales through Menu, Management and Marketing! (with Chris Tripoli) 

4 to 5.30pm: Trip Advisor: Getting on and Managing your Listing

Jane van der Bol, executive director at the Cayman Islands Tourism Association, said that the workshops in 2011 were successful.
