According to police, a Brac resident was checking his firearms safe and noted that all of the weapons stored inside were missing.
Police are looking into the incident and trying to determine the whereabouts of the guns. Two shotguns and one handgun were taken, according to police.
Cayman Islands Firearms Law allows individuals to keep weapons if they have the appropriate licence and those firearms and ammunition are kept secured.
Within the past five years, RCIPS has investigated eight incidents of weapons or ammunition being stolen from safes.
