New law firm Dinner Martin opens Cayman office

Law firm Dinner Martin Attorneys is now open for business.

Dinner Martin is a full-service firm engaged in the practice of law in the Cayman Islands, comprising both civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury matters and commercial litigation, and traditional solicitor practice areas such as immigration and employment law, trade and business licensing, trusts, wills, estates and conveyancing.

With respect to litigation, the members of the firm have appeared before the Grand Court and Court of Appeal in several cases, representing a wide range of local and international clients. Among those clients were the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority and its predecessor, the Department of Health, as represented by the attorney general’s office.

“We are most excited to open our doors and offer expert legal advice to the public of the Cayman Islands and our international clients alike,” said David Dinner, managing partner. “We are putting together a solid team of attorneys and paralegals who specialise in a broad range of practice areas.”

The firm also looks forward to supporting Caymanian law students by offering future internships and article clerkships, he said.

Mr. Dinner, who is also the chairman of the Cayman Heart Fund, joins Randall Foster Martin, his Caymanian partner, who advises on all aspects of immigration law and who will also manage the solicitor side of the practice.

The new firm is based in One Capital Place on Shedden Road.

When asked what differentiates the company from other legal firms, Mr. Martin said, “We use an innovative practice management software which allows our clients to log in to our system and actively monitor the status of their matter.

“Our goal is to keep clients diligently informed of every aspect of their matter from start to finish, with no surprises along the way. We built our firm on exceptional customer service.”
