A 55-year-old man who is accused of setting fire to North Side Police Station in July was remanded in custody following a failed bail application.
Dave Ebanks, of Rum Point Drive in North Side, was arrested on Wednesday, 2 Aug., and charged with arson.
He appeared before Magistrate Angelyn Hernandez in Summary Court on Monday, 7 Aug.
His next court appearance is set for 18 Aug.

The charge is in relation to a fire at the station in the early hours of Monday, 31 July.
Officers from the Cayman Islands Fire Service responded to the report of a fire shortly before 2am and managed to extinguish the blaze.
Though operational at the time of the fire, the building was not occupied and no one was inside. However, the premises was badly damaged.
“Officers will continue to respond to calls for service and conduct all other policing duties in North Side as usual,” police said at the time, adding they would operate from the East End Police Station until an alternative location is identified.
