Now’s our chance to help out the great work of the Cayman Islands Humane Society, which takes care of Cayman’s abandoned and homeless animals.
Yes folks, it’s time to buy tickets to the mega fundraiser event we know and love as the Fur Ball, taking place on Friday, 23 March at the Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort on West Bay Road.
The event will start with bubbly and l’Organerie wines to the sounds of harpist Eugeneo Leon. Dinner will feature live music by the Suite Elite trio and a live and silent auction, with emcee Jay Ehrhart, will help guide participants through the journey. The dress code is tropical chic, and tickets are $150 per person or $1,500 per table.
The event is the biggest annual fundraiser for the local humane society and is always a lot of relaxed fun. It’s enough to make you purr with delight.
Cartier also will be donating items such as a Lalique vase worth CI$1,800. A door prize is one night at the Marriott Beach Resort and dinner for two. Among the auction items are treats and toys, vet gift certificate, vintage waurie boards, gift vouchers, various hotel stays, wine tastings and a round trip to Little Cayman courtesy of Cayman Airways Express. You could even be dining with Governor Duncan Taylor. Not a bad line-up, we think.
Main sponsors are Cartier, Kirk Freeport, Marriott and Blackbeards.
