Time is running out to register

Organisers of the Intertrust Cayman Islands Marathon are reminding people who have not yet registered for the marathon, half marathon, team relay and Kids Fun Run that the deadline for online registration is approaching and they should take advantage of the convenience of registering online as soon as possible.

The event is on Sunday 2 December.

“We are ceasing online registration at midnight on Thursday 29 November after which time you can only register at Packet Pick Up at the Marriott on Saturday, 1 December between 10am and 3pm,” said Rhonda Kelly, race director.

“The reason for this is that we need the Friday before Packet Pick Up to compile all the data, sort the bibs, and basically just prepare for a very busy day at the Marriott on Saturday.”

Registration forms will not be accepted at the Kelly Holding office on Friday 30 November either, says Kelly.

Instead she urges everyone who wants to register after Thursday to go to the Marriott where they can register, collect their race packets, bibs and timing chips all at one time.

“We hope people who are planning to register will do so before the 29th November but if they don’t, we will be waiting for them at the Marriott on 1 December.”

Registration for the 2012 Intertrust Cayman Islands Marathon, Half Marathon, Team Relay and Kids Fun Run is open online until midnight on Thursday 29 November at CaymanIslandsMarathon.com. Walk-in registration can also be done at the Kelly Holding office until the same date.
