Pony to have emergency surgery after assault
A miniature pony that was sexually assaulted at the Equestrian Center last week will need emergency surgery after her condition deteriorated Sunday night. “Pebbles took a turn for the worse overnight and we are flying in the vet from the USA to do emergency surgery tomorrow," said Jessica McTaggart Giuzio.

The Equestrian Center is offering a $15,000 reward to help catch whoever is responsible after a third horse was sexually assaulted last week. Equestrian Center owner Mary Alberga said she is “at a loss over how to protect all these animals.” Overnight Thursday someone assaulted a small pony in one of the back fields.
