George Town South is located in the south-western part of Grand Cayman, south of the George Town Harbour. This district is home to the western part of South Sound, South Sound Public Beach, luxury homes and condominiums, John Grey High School, St. Ignatius Catholic School, Cayman Prep and High School, University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI), Triple C School, Truman Bodden Sports Complex, Lion’s Aquatic Centre, Cayman Islands Boxing Association, and the local favourite, Smith Barcadere (a.k.a. Smith Cove).
